Observation details

The field furthest south had been recently cut, which may have driven some Bobos to uncut fields that are just north (in Bobolink Project/delayed cutting program). These birds were very vocal and active. I have never observed this many in these fields before (1st field just north of cut field and 2nd one along eastern edge in NE portion of the park, closer to private residences and route 7). The recording consists of 4 males perched nearby in a tree. We were on the road between them and the field. We may have been near a nest. As soon as we moved on, they quieted down.
