Observation details
Continuing. Heard oystercatchers calling and spotted them flying along the outer jetty toward the headlands. This bird was accompanied by 3 Black Oystercatchers. The bird seen today had a black chest band extending onto the upper quarter of the belly, but the black/white junction was difficult to discern in distant fuzzy photos. Belly, axillaries, and underwing coverts were clean white.
