Observation details

I heard this guy’s buzzy insect-like song first and thought I must be imagining it - but sure enough, a couple minutes later, I found him perched in a small field in a newer neighborhood of all places. He must be lost! Or this area used to be all field and he’s been returning for years - only to find his once big field is now replaced with homes. I’m coding it S for singing but I doubt there’s any breeding possibility. Photos.
