Observation details
One bird heard only, calling from somewhere near the second bench, plus a separate family group seen approaching the ridge trail junction, consisting of two adults and one juvenile bird. These were brownish flycatchers (generally brown above and pale whitish below) with relatively long tails. At least one of the adults showed dark markings around the face, and the juvenile bird was washed extensively in a bright orangish-brown color, mostly around the head.
