Observation details

After trying for our entire stay in N Queensland to spot Cassowaries we finally got them driving Etty Bay road. I read the most recent ebird reports and Dustin talked with the employees at the beach cafe and we came to the conclusion that the birds were not coming down to the beach at this time. It seems like the birds are moving around the road and the properties at 4pm. The birds walked to this patch of trees -17.563725,146.086741 and laid down just inside, only slightly obscured but unlikely to be seen when driving the road.
