Observation details
I have no idea what was going on here. A total of eight adult male Baltimore Orioles were descending on a small pile of brush at the base of a small tree on the bank of the river. The most I could get in one shot is five, but the others would be in the trees above and around. Further, there were at least three more adult males just up the road and one begging young. The oddest part to me was that the orioles were completely silent. Orioles can really scold and carry on, but all of these birds kept coming and going without a sound. Really odd! I never could see what was interesting them.
