Observation details
Life birds. Found two sets of countersinging males, all west of Old Gap, first pair about here with the second pair another half mile or so south: 46.616037,-109.808529 Handsome patterned faced sparrows, black malar stripe and necklace of spots on a white throat, singing their ringing descending songs. Pretty morning that calmed out after the early morning thunderstorm rolled east. Lovely longspurs and prairie feathers.
