Observation details
Presumably the same pair that had been on East Pond, reported here earlier today by Peter Dorosh. On the Brooklyn side of the pond with large group of other ducks, sticking close together. At different points dabbling in the water and preening and standing in shallow water at edge of pond. I estimated their location with a pin on the map, before later comparing that to a map of the counties, and it looked to be almost exactly along the county line, for what it's worth. Smaller than adjacent mallards, with titular black bellies, contrasting white patches on wings, and peachy orange bills. Will add photo
