Observation details
Continuing bird, very close to where it was initially spotted by Zane a few days ago. Did not see or hear it on the initial walk from Hopkins to Pedrick, on the way back I ran into another birder (Mike, I believe) looking for the tanager, just after I chatted with him, I heard the bird at about 9:40 singing from the top of a eucalyptus tree on the Yolo side at 38.527428, -121.800038, just down slope from the two large eucalyptus that are on the levee road. The bird continued to sing on the Yolo side for about 10 minutes, then it flew to the Solano side and sang and called intermittently for more than an hour. I eventually got a brief look at the bird from the lower poison-oak infested path, the same immature male that has been spotted all week.
