NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 8. Bulk reel: 124 203 tape. Weather: fair. Natural song, mostly by male, although female occasionally heard and is ~ in focus @ end. (Thamnophilus murinus fairly prominent in background in latter part.) Quality: 1. Level: +3. Then some more from a few minutes later. Quality: 2. Level: +3. Originally identified by the recordist as Hypocnemis cantator. Reidentified by Isler et al. as H. flavescens as part of their study on species limits in the H. cantator complex (see Isler et al. 2007).
