Observation details
Continuing bird! Seen first on this post here: (42.3560758, -84.8686284). North side of O Drive and west side of the creek. He occasionally went into the onion fields on the north side of the road (both sides of the creek). He also took some time in the creek ditch. He enjoyed returning to the original post of the large tree across from the pin to preen. He made some very slight & quiet vocalizations for a brief time. I tried to record, but I don’t think it’s useable due to the other bird sounds. I did get some pictures though, which I will add soon! He was beautiful with glossy black color all around. He had the bright whiteish eye. He was more sleek and slender than the nearby red winged blackbirds. And he was much smaller with a square tail compared to common grackles.
