Observation details
***MEGA | first reported in a yard near the tip of Small Point on 27 May. The bird stayed in the area but was taken by a predator on the night of 29 May, found decapitated on the morning of 30 May. Small Point is a private community with no public access but the homeowner, Camilla MacFadyen, graciously allowed small groups of visitors (one car at a time) to venture down and look for the bird.
