Observation details
Spotted using binoculars. About 200 m away from lookout point. Tall slender looking white with yellow/orange beak. Standing in the water with another egret near by. When in flight neck resembles a sigmoid flexure. Appears to be an adult Great Egret with black legs. Temperature is 75 F with sunny skies. Located on a reproduction center. When standing in cat tail brush, feather resemble wispy like appearance. Ruled out blue heron due to its more slender of a neck. Observed bird for about 30 minutes and can confirm this was a great egret. I have been traveling across the country and have seen these in places such as Minnesota. Spotted at 2:30 PM
