Observation details
Singing male, likely encountered difficulty during migration. Health recovered, obviously there is no female to respond, so he is singing continuously. Song is the high, thin, metallic, and reverberating "Tss-see-see-see-see-see-see"' and NOT the "squeaking wheel" or Type II "spin out" Tsi-squeaky-weeky-weeky-weeky" of a Black-and-white; Not an American Redstart or other warbler singing with plasticity; remained low (less than 8 feet from the ground) and continued to move through thick undergrowth. Classicly good Blackpoll Warbler song. Media will appear here once I process the audio from a video file.
