Observation details
I heard this bird calling first. Not immediately knowing what bird it was, I stepped to my sliding glass door and saw a mature Cooper's sitting on a pile of feathers. I hastily got my camera and was able to get these photos from my bathroom window opened. I then tried to get a better look and photo by going back to my glass door. Opening it the bird flew off immediately, but then, surprise! another one flew after it! I only had a brief micro-second look at the second one. Definitely another Cooper's. Question: why was the second bird chasing the first? or was it?
