Observation details
Stopped for a flock of large Swifts. Got great views as they flew above and around us. We first saw really large ones that were clearly White-throated with a contrasting white throat and a white crescent. Next we saw the Fork-tailed Swifts. Got amazing views as some of them flew close by against a green background. They had a narrow white rump and no sign of a white throat. We watched multiple individuals and observed that none of them had a white throat. I have previously seen such swifts in the region but not had such good views. So finally I'm reporting these as Salim Ali's :) Finally, we saw some Needletails among the White-throated that were smaller and didn't have demarcated white throats. Their throats only looked a little paler brown than the dark underparts.
