Observation details

One individual singing from the first stand of cottonwoods on Nelson Creek Road when approaching from SR4. This is adjacent to where this species could regularly be found before the Columbia Land Trust harvested the mature hybrid cottonwood stand on their preserve well over a decade ago. Maybe now that these trees are maturing we will have Red-eyed Vireos here regularly again.

Additional species

  • Cedar Waxwing Bombycilla cedrorum
  • California Scrub-Jay Aphelocoma californica
