Observation details

Heard 3 distinct calls and saw two minimum. Likely more since the entirity of suitable area was not explored due to rising heat In the vast grassland, btislted was found to the north west section which had mostly tall imperaga grass interspersed with tree sapkings rising above the grass. It was not seen in the tamarisk dominated areas. The bird was spooted and photographed and subsequently playback was done and the birds responded with three indoviduals responding. Dominant grass species Imperata. No sacharam grass at alll
