Observation details
Photographed just north of Azalea Pond, where it exhibited high site fidelity making a constant foraging loop. Compared photos with Tim Healy’s bird the day before and the feathers made it the exact same bird — Tim confirmed. Many photos obtained. Never vocalized, but matched all field marks: overall warmish coloration, dull face, and slightly buffish feathers on wing coverts.
