Observation details
Singing male found at spot described by Joachim Gonzalez June 4 (CHECKLIST S179422026) near picnic table about 0.65 mile from Cedar Mountain trailhead across creek from campground. Perched conspicuously high in oak singing continuously. Gray head, prominent eyering, white moustache. Area surrounded by chamise. I saw Bell's Sparrows singing in the chamise as I headed downhill, which was probably the same bird found at picnic table. Bell's Sparrows are regularly in the chamise along this trail.
