Observation details
We initially thought these were Marbled Godwits, but Josh Uffman explained how these were Hudsonian. I'd like to add his words here for future reference: "Hudsonian Godwits, likely females, which often are much paler than the bright male Hudsonian that were present a few days ago at RMBS. Females are regularly confused with Marbled and can be difficult to accurately ID without seeing the open wing (cinnamon in Marbled) and tail (also cinnamon in Marbled). Anyways, in photos by yourself, Craig Alexander, , and Jonah Eckels the birds have show rufous underparts, dark rufous barring on the breasts and bellies, white in undertail coverts, and Jonah just added photos that clearly show one of the birds to have a white rump - Which is diagnostic for Hudsonian."
