Bird not seen other than fleeting glimpses of what appeared to be a female BAWW. Apparently these are “angry calls”.
Observation details
I cannot be 100% certain this came from the female Black-and-white Warbler I could barely get a look at, but I couldn't find another bird in the immediate vicinity. I can't recall ever hearing this sound before. A colleague has referred to it as "angry calling".
