Observation details

Will attach recordings. Heard calling in early-successional cover in a tree at 39.29037, -75.77079. I then played Alder Flycatcher calls to remind myself of what they sound like, and it then started softly singing. One recording is the calling, the other is the singing. Didn’t bring binoculars on this walk, but I did see an empid flycatcher in this tree.
