Observation details
Poor photos TBA. Small brown bird with clean white belly and throat. Single bird first heard at a distance, but kept coming closer to about 25 yards. Once the bird was located, a second individual was spotted closely following the first from tree to tree. Pair moved around for a bit, with diagnostic tree creeping behavior, before making their way back out into the bald cypress-Tupelo forest. Gold book says extreme late date for coastal plain is May 19. Also states a historic breeding population in MD near Accomack in swamp forests. I think this is a breeding pair.
