Observation details
For over an hour Merlin indicated it was hearing a Rose-breasted Grosbeak in the same location, then switching near the end of the song to Summer Tanager, or initially indicating a Summer Tanager from the same individual. RBGR was flagged as rare and needing supporting observations; but I had no success seeing anything, although it was close by, and in low lying dense vegetation along the Dogwood trail. All singing followed a fairly consistent song pattern that was short in length with a bit of space between singing. Could be wrong, but going with SUTA after listening to dozens of RBGR songs which seemed more random and longer.
