CELL 19: 2 adults (one calling) but both nests unoccupied - one egg in one but nothing [?] in other…Peter said earlier this morning there were 2 chicks in the pickleweed near the nest with one egg, AND that is where the calling male was…); CELL 21: 2 (2 nests); CELL 22: 2 (1 nest at W end); CELL 32: 6 (calling male at NW corner and then pair there…and nest sans ME still present with male nearby but then 3 males courting another female, then just a couple moving from flat to flat…; CELL 35: 1 (1 nest and the other empty - they’ve hatched, but where are they…); AND found male brooding a chick at NW corner of Cell 32; CELL 30: male with at least 2 tiny chicks - confusing as he took off like a bolt of lightning and left chicks hiding in salicornia patch; he then came back and is brooding then in the vegetation - certainly 2 chicks, but I gotta go…
