Observation details
Didn't vocalize, so I'm going to have to leave it as unidentified. It did not appear yellowish, like the definite YBFC I saw earlier; also, the eye-ring rules out Pewee, and it was too large for Least FC. I don't have enough empid experience to judge the primary projection length. Given the pale malar and the eye-ring and the fact that no other empids were reported in the Ramble today besides Acadian, I suspect it was an Acadian. Also, I saw this bird at the Gill, where an Acadian vocalized repeatedly much earlier in the day. This bird flew in and perched long enough for me to take these pretty crummy photos and then it disappeared.
