Observation details
finally the long awaited lifer least tern! thanks to brian for pointing out the high pitched kid-ik call as they flew in. gorgeous yellow bill and clear white band on forehead, rather like a cliff swallow. Small in stature, even when flying by themselves--you can almost feel that they are tinier than other terns even when there's no one nearby for comparison. Very cute appearance. cheers brian thanks for the lifers!
