Observation details
Nest with 4 blind recently hatched nestlings on the drying machine duct in the laundry room. The birds have to fly through the whole length of the garage and through the laundry room threshold to get to it and depend on the door being open though it is closed every night. Right now one bird is flycatching in the light of the laundry room (?) and making tse and diagnostic seeyee calls but not sitting right on the nest. Earlier a bird was sitting in the nest cup. Normally they build nests on the light sconces around the porch every year and the nests fall off the sconces and rarely fledge. This is the first year they have entered the garage to nest...
