Observation details
Gorgeous yellow bellied/throated Empids. Bold eyering, white wing bars on dark wings, green back and head, dark tail. Low contrast from facial olive green to yellow throat. Sweet mournful “tureee” calls. Seen perching and hawking on hillside near playground and on hillside near bathrooms. Occasional calling back and forth. Recorded and photographed.
