Observation details
fledglings, very cool! not really that young anymore, more like juveniles. since I decided to go to organic garden today I noted that there was a lot of starling noise and activity around the gardens, at first didnt mind much because they are always noisy, but then realized that some of them were juvenile calls, more scratchy and did not pick up by merlin. got some nice photos, many foraging on the ground with adults or skulking around in short trees, not very approachable and would fly away with the adults in large groups when you get close. pretty cute though! my first time seeing juv starlings on campus.
