Observation details
4 owls sitting together on a mulberry tree. Also rescued a chick that had fallen below the tree and put it back in a nest box. About 3-4 weeks old. Could not find nest though but monitoring progress of the chick. Seen on 22 May on branch of tree. Adults and young all made hissing calls during which they would quiver their wings. 4 adults tend to stick together on the same branch. Do two of them belong to previous s cohort? Two years ago five Scops owls seen sitting together on the same tree.
