Observation details
Only heard this warbler. I wasn't 100% sure of the identity of the bird, so sent the audio to a few people to confirm. It was singing from a wet area that also hosted a pair of Northern Waterthrush. It stopped singing around noon and I haven't heard it since, despite checking several times over the following days. Although Loop Pond is public land, access is a bit complicated, so I was afraid to post about this bird earlier. It sounded like it was coming from the direction of someones yard off Lattof Farm Circle, and while Tarrs Lane W looks like the way to access this site, there is no parking there, or on Applecart Rd. It also wasn't initially clear if the south part of the field (from where I heard the bird) is public or private. The only definitely legal place to park to access Loop Pond is over at Evans Field or the train station, which then involves walking down the private dirt extension of Pooles Lane and then crossing the railroad tracks.
