This bird was tiny; no more than two inches tip of bill to end of (very short) tail. Body size of a bushtit. Chirping enthusiastically for parent to come back and feed it. I think there were three fledglings in the bush (at least two, for certain).
Observation details
Two (possibly three) tiny fledglings in a bush. Chirping enthusiastically for food from parents. Tiny birds: body the size of a bushtit. Fledglings were capable of flying about ten feet per burst.
