Observation details

Literally the first bird I heard after stepping out of the car - heard only, although I got very close to two of them. Incredibly loud song and very well named, to the point where I couldn’t really judge how far away they were. At one point I saw a brown blob jump down inside a bush, but beyond that these birds live up to their reputation of being impossible to see. Two singing near the paved road, another two up on the headland about halfway to back beach
