Observation details
Following latest sighting by Rick, checked creek outflow for this particular bird and I think I got it, finally on the 8th try since early winter. I no sooner got my view finder on the bird than a dog owner released its pup to dash through the flock and flush all the gulls. Normal occurrence, unfortunately. Bird maybe the same as Rick's Thayers type.
