Observation details
At 2:07 pm the Caracara flew in from the Northeast (across the PCH) and landed on the top of the parking lot light in the rear of Popeyes Chicken (next to Popeyes outdoor dumpster) and was looking around the lot for food. After 2 min of not seeing any food, the bird flew off west toward CVS. (Apparently, people have been putting out small bits of chicken breast in the handicap parking spot in front of the meat market behind Popeyes!) I waited another 45min to see if he would return, he didn't! But in that 2 min, I got pics.
