Observation details
Continuing rarity reported on facebook this morning. Unmistakeable tyrannus flycatcher with silvery colored body, dark wings, and absurdly long split tail feathers. Resting in a tree south of the tennis courts north of the lake. My second in Cook county since October 15th, 2023! Big thanks to Joe Lill for the advice, Keith for the birding company, Greg and Matthew for the reporting and posts, the original finder, Dave for the refind, and Diane for helping me see it in the tree.
