Observation details
Breeding plumage female. Arrived about the time I saw the Wilson's. I didn't see it fly in, it just appeared among the Dowitcher's on the far West side of the shoal. As I walked to get my camera it moved more towards the center of the shoal and was feeding where there was just a trace of water over the sand. Photos are still very distant. My first extended look at a breeding plumage bird. The colors were stunning in the sunlight and the photos won't do the bird justice at all.
