Observation details
Wow. 2 or 3 of them flying around, what a distinctive looking bird. Light color underneath with brown band mid wing on the part of wing closer to tip. Wings long, feathery but shape and length in proportion to body reminded me of Tern though maybe not quite as large. Unable to catch photo of underside in flight, but got a really good one when one sat on a branch.. and Merlin came up with I.D. I was able to confirm it especially since underside is so distinctive. Beak shape is smaller too. They squawked but I don't think I got that on videos. Videos will be uploaded to YouTube under chasingegrets since my attempts to upload video here have been unsuccessful.
