Dr. Vijayendra Desai with his friends, Dr. Neha and Kashyap Makwana, went for bird photography in the surrounding area of Surat on Sunday. During this outing, Dr. Vijayendra Desai identified a different kind of duck which he recognized as the Fulvous Whistling Duck. This sighting is notable for several reasons: Identification and Appearance: The Fulvous Whistling Duck stood slightly apart from other ducks.
