Observation details
Great find by Connor Cochrane last night. Uniform brown upper side lacking any rufous on the tail. Gray wash made it distinctively plain and blank-faced. One thing I noticed was that its profile in silhouette seemed very different, with a longer blockier bill and a much sharper angle between the throat and hill. The only thrush at the lighthouse, and gave great views perching in all the cypresses and sitting on the road.
