Observation details
TWO! Twice seen chasing each other in a high, extended flight at ~9:15 a.m. In the same general area as the Black-billed Cuckoo coordinates (35.1445828, -89.9890227) throughout the morning. One or both individuals were very vocal with lots of song ("THREE BEERS") as well as “pit-pit-pit” calls earlier in the morning (which is how we first detected OSFL). Still singing when we left the golf course area. Perhaps the presence of two birds was the root of all the hubbub.
