Observation details
RARE, not many records in Northampton County, thanks to Adam Miller and Adam Smith for identifying this rare warbler which is more typical of southern swamps. The bird proved to be a true skulker as it sang frequently from low super thick vegetation. It took hours to get a look and some good photos in addition to sound recordings. Now the crazy thing for me is I had this bird singing in the same area on Friday and could not figure it out using Merlin app. I did not know to turn off my phone's location setting. Thus, this bird has been present at least 3 days now.
