Observation details
When we arrived, the beautiful falcon was in the tall palm tree in front of the 99c store. We were told that at around noon, the bird would likely fly to the Halal market for free lunch. At around 1 p.m., the Yellow-headed Caracara flew behind the Popeye's and landed on the dumpster (someone had placed a raw chicken breast there) allowing for some fantastic looks. Blond-yellow head and light beige breast with monttled light and dark brown back and wings. See photos.
