I don't know for certain that this is a young Red-tailed Hawk, but this nest was occupied by a RTHA on my last visit here back in early April. An adult RTHA was in the immediate vicinity - after having had an aerial argument with another bird it sat perched at the top of a tall tree stump some 150 feet away from this nest.
