Observation details
*Rare. Continuing first county record (in eBird). I waited ~45 minutes across the street from the feeder. It flew into the large oak next to the feeder from somewhere across the street around 1:45 PM. Didn’t see it land on the feeder before neighbors started chatting about what all the excitement was. Had a lovely conversation with the homeowner Susan who is very nice and genuinely excited we’re all getting to see this bird. Also spoke with a neighbor across the street who was very positive about the whole thing.
