Observation details
The mother and one owlet were visible at the entrance to the nesting box in my back yard. Comment added May 19, 2024: Nest was empty on the night of May 14/15, 2024. I checked the box and there were no signs of predation, so I believe that the young fledged that night. I have not seen any of the owls since then. I saw two owlets in the entrance on May 13, which I photographed.
