Observation details
I have observed these two male birds, one on each side of the trail around the field. They seem to be very territorial, but have been in the same tree a couple of times and do not tolerate each other. They zip each other off very quickly. They seem to stay on the right side and the left side of the trail most if the time. Interestingly on my way out, there was a bird singing from the west side of the pond by the maintenance house could possibly be a third bird. I could still hear a prairie singing on the back edge of the field at the same time I saw the one across the pond. Plenty of photos. Appears to be second county record. First found by Noel Breuer on 5/3.
