Observation details
Smaller than Black-bellied Plovers it first appeared with. Mainly in basic plumage but transitioning to alternate. Crown and back mostly in mottled gray and gold (alternate). Nape still mostly gray. Wing panel showing a mix of gray and gold feathers but mostly in basic. Underparts showing a dingy to dull white base color with scattered flecks of black on belly and breast. Sides, flanks and edges of undertail striped with black and white in a zebra like pattern. Legs and feet were blackish. Primary projection past the end of the tertials did not appear long so going with Pacific rather than American as ID for now.
